The
decisions of the player are expressed through biddings (put), of which
the goal is to maximize the profit and to minimize the share of chance,

Terms employed at the time of the settings

Pot
The goal of the poker consists in boxing the pot, formed by the various
biddings having taken place in the blow. One can also call it pool or

Opening bet
The player opens by betting a stake with the pot when nobody still put

Pass
The player passes when it decides to leave the blow, which makes him
lose the biddings that it already made. It will be in particular the
case when he considers the situation too dangerous for him or when he

also say “pass” or “fold”.

Call
The player follows when it put worthy of the bidding in progress. He
says: “call”, “paid”,

Checker
The player checke when it put nothing but remains in the blow. He says
“check” or “word”. As long as a
turn of bidding is not opened, the player can check. The first player
with speaking thus can always check if it wishes it. But as soon as a
player opens the pot, the players who follow cannot any more check.

Raise
The player starts again when it increases the bidding in progress. If
the opening is of 10, the following players can follow, pass or raise.
If he raise again, the following players can again follow, pass or
raise, etc a player can raise because it feels favorite or because it
wishes to make the blow too expensive for his adversary and to push
them to leave the blow. The player known as
“raise”.
